Es begann alles mit ein paar Zitronen.

Im April 2021 haben wir voller Vorfreude den Kaufvertrag für unser wunderschönes Grundstück unterschrieben. Um unseren neuen Besitz gebührend zu feiern, luden wir unser Wohnmobil bis unters Dach mit Orangen, Zitronen, Mandarinen und Grapefruits. Zurück in unserem damaligen Wohn- und Arbeitsort Basel kam uns spontan eine Idee: Warum nicht die köstlichen Zitrusfrüchte auf dem Quartiersmarkt verkaufen?

Gesagt, getan – und es war ein voller Erfolg. Die Früchte waren in null Komma nichts restlos verkauft. Schon wenige Wochen später sprach eine Passantin Raffi auf der Strasse an und fragte:
„Sind Sie der Zitronenmann?“
Von diesem Moment an nahm alles seinen Lauf.

Seit wir in unserem Naturparadies auf Sizilien leben, entdecken wir immer mehr von dem, was hier wächst. Wir lernen, Früchte, Nüsse und Gemüse haltbar zu machen, um ihre Aromen das ganze Jahr über geniessen zu können. In liebevoller Handarbeit entstehen daraus unsere Produkte – in Bioqualität und mit viel Sorgfalt hergestellt.

Zweimal im Jahr bringen wir eine Auswahl unserer Produkte an Märkte in der Schweiz. Es erfüllt uns mit grosser Freude, dass sich über die Jahre eine stetig wachsende Stammkundschaft entwickelt hat, die unsere Produkte sichtbar geniesst. Mittlerweile beliefern wir auch einige Läden in der Schweiz.

Our Products

It all started with a few lemons.

In April 2021, full of excitement, we signed the purchase contract for our beautiful piece of land. To properly celebrate this new chapter, we packed our camper van to the roof with oranges, lemons, mandarins and grapefruits. Back in our former home and workplace in Basel, a spontaneous idea came up: why not sell these delicious citrus fruits at the local neighborhood market?

No sooner said than done – and it was a great success. The fruits sold out in no time at all. Just a few weeks later, a passerby stopped Raffi on the street and asked:
“Are you the lemon man?”
From that moment on, everything took its course.

Since living in our little natural paradise in Sicily, we have been discovering more and more of what grows here. We are learning how to preserve fruits, nuts and vegetables so their aromas can be enjoyed all year round. Our products are created in loving handcraft, made with great care and in organic quality.

Twice a year, we bring a selection of our products to markets in Switzerland. It fills us with joy to see how a steadily growing base of loyal customers has developed over the years and truly enjoys our creations. By now, we also supply a small number of shops in Switzerland.
